Terms and Conditions

These terms are a contract between you and Pavirion Consulting Private Limited (trade name Pavirion Consultancy, GSTIN 33AARCP1443N1Z1), which provides the Modern Salon Owner website and SalonOS software. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

1. The service

SalonOS is cloud software for salons and spas: appointments, billing, clients, staff, inventory, WhatsApp messaging, an AI assistant and reports. Features may change as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

• You must be a business, or an adult authorised to bind one, and give accurate details.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials safe.
• The account owner controls which staff get which permissions.

3. Fees and tax

• Pricing is per branch per month, shown on our pricing page, and is exclusive of GST unless stated.
• GST at the prevailing rate is added to every invoice. Tax invoices are issued under GSTIN 33AARCP1443N1Z1.
• Fees are billed in advance for each billing period. Unpaid accounts may be suspended after notice.
• Messaging costs charged by Meta or other carriers, where applicable, are disclosed in advance.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Your data and your clients

You own the data you put into SalonOS. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, and any consent needed, to store client data and to message clients, including WhatsApp opt-ins and opt-outs. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, send spam or misleading messages, infringe others’ rights, access other salons’ data, probe or disrupt our systems, or resell the service without our written consent. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. AI features

The AI assistant may make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing prices, availability and any commitments made to clients, and for the configuration you set for it.

7. Third-party services

The service relies on providers such as WhatsApp (Meta), payment gateways and cloud hosts. Their terms apply, and we are not liable for their outages or policy changes.

8. Intellectual property

We own the software, brand and content of the service. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your subscription is active.

9. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Support is by email at hello@modernsalonowner.com.

10. Termination

You may cancel any time from your account or by email; access continues to the end of the paid period. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. After closure you can export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it, subject to legal retention duties.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim arose.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction, after a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute by email.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the revised date means you accept the update; we will notify account owners of material changes.
